Bialik wrote in her 2012 parenting book Across the Slingthat she and her then-hubby Michael Stone had opted non to get their two children, Miles and Frederick, vaccinated. Critics of Bialik as well cited a 2017 editorial she wrote for The New York Timestitled "Being a Feminist in Harvey Weinstein's World" as an case of a "victim-blaming" mentality.
Some have specifically highlighted a portion where Bialik wrote: "I even so make choices every day as a 41-year-erstwhile actress that I think of equally cocky-protecting and wise. I have decided that my sexual cocky is best reserved for private situations with those I am most intimate with. I wearing apparel modestly. I don't human activity flirtatiously with men as a policy."
A few days later the article was released, Bialik issued amea culpa on Twitter. I actually do regret that this became what it became … The only people who are responsible for their beliefs and assail are the predators who are committing those horrendous acts."
